How this website uses information when you browse or contact Lorain County Leviathan FC.
When you contact the club
Contact messages and the associated email addresses are kept for one year, then deleted by an automated process. This is the club’s correspondence-retention policy; third-party form services have their own retention practices.
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message so the club can respond. Please avoid including sensitive personal information. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Messages are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to the club’s existing contact address. FormSubmit may present a Google reCAPTCHA check to reduce spam. These services have their own privacy practices.
News signups
When you choose to receive club news, we save your email address and the date and source of your consent in the club’s contact list in the Black River Webworks campaign manager. This list is separate from contact messages and other clients’ mailing lists. The data is stored in a private Neon database; the public website can submit signups but cannot read the mailing list.
We use your signup for Lorain County Leviathan FC news and updates. You can unsubscribe through a club campaign email or ask the club to remove your signup. Unsubscribe and delivery-suppression records are preserved so an address is not automatically added back. Your browser remembers a completed signup or a dismissed signup bar without storing your email address in browser storage. To limit spam, we temporarily store a keyed hash of your network address and an attempt count that expire after 48 hours and are removed when the signup service next runs.
Website services and analytics
This website uses Vercel for hosting and Black River Webworks for website content and traffic analytics. The club’s fonts are served with the website. Hosting and form services receive technical information needed to process requests, which may include your IP address.
Our traffic analytics records page paths and view times, a short-lived visit identifier, referring website, campaign tags, device category, browser family and country. The analytics database stores neither raw IP addresses nor full browser user-agent strings. Stored page paths exclude query strings and fragments; stored referrers contain only the referring hostname. Campaign values are retained separately, so personal information should not be included in campaign tags.
The tracker uses a random identifier in session storage to count visits. It is renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity and is not a permanent identifier across browsing sessions. It does not use tracking cookies or record contact-form contents, keystrokes or session recordings. The code is configured to delete analytics records older than 91 days through scheduled cleanup.
Analytics respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also exclude visits from this browser. That preference is saved in local storage; clearing site data removes it. Visit counts represent browsing sessions rather than verified individual people.
The weather artwork uses a nearby reporting station and does not request your device location.
Club Store and payments
The Club Store uses Square for product availability, orders and secure checkout. When you proceed to checkout, Square collects the contact, shipping and payment information needed to process your order. Card details are entered on Square’s checkout page and are not collected by this website. The club uses order information to fulfill purchases. The Arrivo shop is a separate store with its own checkout and privacy practices.
Browser storage
The website stores a recent weather observation in local storage and the last hero slogan in session storage. These support the artwork and headline experience. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data settings. Your shopping bag is saved in local storage on your browser until you clear it or remove the items. Restricted preview pages use a session cookie for access.
Club updates
Follow the club’s social accounts for updates. An email newsletter service has not yet been connected to this website. Any future signup should explain how to unsubscribe before collecting subscriptions.

Facebook, Instagram, X and other linked websites manage their own information and privacy policies.
Questions about your information
Contact the club at gaffer@loraincountyleviathanfc.com to ask about information you have submitted or request its deletion. The club can respond to questions about this policy and any applicable limits on deletion requests.
